Creating an immaculate reproduction of lost soft and hard tissue is the ideal goal in implant dentistry. Predictable soft and hard tissue regeneration and maintenance, so crucial to the clinical success of each case is highly dependent on the appropriate selection of material as well as the technique and approach. With abundance of newer materials on the market, the clinician is given the task to marry the right material and technique, often biased by opinions, and without much true scientific guidance. This presentation will highlight the role of contemporary “biologics” in soft and hard tissue regeneration, as well as proven clinical techniques and principles in the anterior esthetic zone. Use of provisionalition, utilizing extracted tooth or restoration, together with a recently published ASAP protocol will be presented.
